As far as I can tell, Jack really is Fletcher's middle name, not his nickname or short for John or something. And he had an uncle named Frank Friday Fletcher, [1], [2], who was also an admiral, and also awarded the Medal of Honor so he too will eventually get a page -- at which point this move will be more trouble than it's worth.
